Manufacturing Services
Facility Engineering Planning and Design
Our services extend from area programming and conceptual design through detailed design, design / build documentation and turnkey assistance. Our Engineers serve
the needs of companies expanding, relocating or consolidating, drawing on expertise
from a broad range of industries including Life Science, Pharmaceutical, High-Tech,
Consumables, Hard-Goods Manufacturing and Food.
Strategic
Master Planning
Comprehensive process documentation and analysis for operations looking to
reduce manufacturing costs or expand / consolidate locations. Analysis on implementing
proper manufacturing techniques, integrating with facility right-sizing and
workflow analysis, are core competencies in this service section.
Test
Fit / Block Layout Analysis
Development of Master Block Layout Plan for Greenfield locations or specific
buildings, using department sizing requirements, flow analysis and existing
facility analysis to assure that operations are maximized.
Detailed
Layout Development and Facility Design
Systematic layout planning for operational areas, including manufacturing,
stockroom, distribution and support activities. Layouts incorporate improved
flow of materials, proper storage and staging, improved material handling systems
and use of Lean Manufacturing techniques and improved production philosophies.
Design
Build Documentation
Advancement of detailed equipment layout to include Mechanical, Electrical
and Plumbing documentation for interface with Design / Build construction.
Process
Development and Documentation
Process and detailed methods documentation, integrating with improved manufacturing
layouts, allow for proper training of work force on new layouts, workstation
concepts and improved efficiencies. Process documentation uses many of the
tools and techniques found with Lean Manufacturing to assure that cost projections
are met and non-value added activities are eliminated.
Turnkey
Implementation
Total project management capabilities, including equipment specification, bidding
and vendor qualification,
vendor management, internal and external resource management and proof of performance
measuring. Project management techniques assure that system design and equipment
processes are implemented to design standards.
