Senior Supply Chain Engineer / Project Manager Position
Boston Industrial Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Engineer / Project Manager to join our team in Danvers, Massachusetts. This role is responsible for analyzing and designing material handling systems and supply chain operations using SQL, databases, and simulation tools. The position includes conducting and managing field investigations and data gathering, as well as providing data-driven conclusions and recommendations to support supply chain and material handling equipment automation processes.

The selected candidate will coordinate projects, clients, and vendors utilizing Warehouse Management Systems and Warehouse Control Systems, and will lead the implementation of Material Handling Equipment as part of large-scale capital projects. Responsibilities also include developing distribution design criteria through workflow analysis, operations layout planning, and CAD support. The role involves participation in multiple projects for distribution-based clients, interfacing directly with clients, leading client management activities, and working in a highly organized and quality-focused manner.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or a foreign equivalent degree, along with five years of progressive experience in the job offered or in designing and implementing supply chain distribution solutions. Experience in consulting within industrial engineering or distribution operations and in designing Automated Distribution Centers is required.
Travel requirements include weekly one-day trips to clients within driving distance of the worksite and monthly multi-day trips requiring air travel.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and is located at 89 Newbury Street, Suite 206, Danvers, MA 01923. Salary will be at or above industry standard.
